In South Africa only 8% of public schools have functional libraries! This alarming statistic is the driving force behind the Touch Africa Container Library Project.
Sourcing books for the Container Libraries is a costly venture and thus the need to start a book drive was borne. Each container library houses 2500 books for learners in Grade R – 7.
